The dance life at Zunic Wellness

2007 - Hey I'm back again. Sorie for the delays. I've been caught up so much with my work and I hardly go online. Hehe. But here again, I'm recallin' from what I can remember and what I did back in the years. Still its 07, and life was a bit bored those days. Yes..Uni life was kinda both bored and fun too. Till one day Phyzz came up with an idea of joining this newly-opened gym called Zunic Wellness. Zunic was not only about gym. It had other cool facilities along with it, which I think I don't have to mention it. You guys can find out by hitting to the place at Plaza Athirah, on the 6th floor. Back to the story, Phyzz knew this dude who works at Zunic named Khamdi (Hum). Before this, Phyzz and I were already into dancing, especially into krump. But we both needed something more than just that. So the meeting with Hum was to find out an answer to our question, can you teach us hip-hop dances? With just one click and he goes, "Yea sure..Definitely we can". Hum said you name it, and we'll teach you by counts and step by step. Me and Phyzz took days and time to signup for Zunic's dance class. And we did. We both signed up for a six-months membership. The next day after we met this cool choreographer named Tadii Tendayi a.k.a. T.

Since that day, everytime me & Phyzz got the free time, there's no place we'll hit but Zunic. Almost everyday we danced to different types of hip-hop musics, learned new moves and choreography. I even met several dancers. As far as I can remember, this is the place where I met Jeez, Ice, Mel and Bryan, who are actually the earliest members of Zunic. Besides me & Phyzz, Zizi and Belle decided to join us at Zunic too. The experience with Zunic was a total fun. Our choreography was meant to shine and for the people to see and this is where we got a chance to perform at the Stadium (checkout at youtube). A dinner nite was also organised by Zunic at the Ballroom at Empire Hotel. The party was a total fun and it was a memorable nite.

Introducing Choki Choki Group

2007 - Going thru the first semester was never easy. Hard times and pressure with assignments always awaits ahead of us..and there's nothing stopping it. But thats how life in Uni shud be. Its like we have to go thru hell to get to heaven. Haha. Different types of works and assignments are given and due dates are as if chasing us. Whether its individual type of work or group work. And speaking of group work, back in those days at Uni, I was part of a group in the Geography subject. The course was taught by Puan Shamsiah. We were to form a group and an assignment have been given out to us..n yes, we must work together for it.

As usual, Hasan was my closest buddy that I have, so we intend to stick as partner-in-crimes and we would join anyone who intends to form a group. As everybody were satisfied with their hand-picked fellas, our group was formed and consisted of 10 undergrads. The 10 of us were Huffey, Omar, Norin, Hannie, Ardiana, Rose, Wai, Iz, Hasan & me. As a group, we voted and elected Iz as our group leader (GL). As she was the GL, she came up with a name for group called 'Choki Choki Group'. I know its sounds ridiculous, but it ain't my idea. Haha.

Our assignment was to present about the environment that's happenin' in our country. As a group, we took a journey all the way from Kg. Subok to Kg. Tamoi. We interviewed several citizens and workers, and asked their opinion in overcoming the pollution to the environment. Other than that, Choki Choki Group also visited where Tenunan Kain were made, sumwhere around Lumapas.

As a group, we had our fun & great times together. Its memorable..

Life Before Stepping Into University

2007 - After goin thru alot of turned-down government jobs, I find my life was hard. I don't even know where and when I'm gonna find a better job-career that suits me, especially after my graduation. After graduation, I was still working with my former-attachment partner, Anwar at BSM Muara, and after a job-career at RBA was turned down too, I almost felt lost. My future had no answer, but to stay working at BSM..maybe for the rest of my life. Although I find working at BSM was worth it due to its salary, but I get the feeling that I can't stay here for too long. I deserve much better than working under pressure, under the hot sun, fillin up diesels and petrols for truckers. I even experienced working in the store section, but the effort, work pressure and tiredness that I went thru had no difference.

Within four to five months later, I get the feeling that my life was about to change. I received a call from the University for an interview. Since its just a call up for interview, and thinking that my qualifications are not as high and satisfying as it seems, I kept my hopes into minimal in stepping into Uni. I knew my chances to be one of the undergraduates are low. The interview was postponed twice but then I went thru it well.

I was pretty much shocked and yet excited when I received a call..again from the University, congratulated me and saying that I was accepted and will be joining the 2007/2008 intakes.

Early in the morning as I reached the UBD Chancellor Hall, I couldn't imagine seeing the number of countless people and undergraduates around. They were everywhere. Some might be lucky because they're friends from the same school, so they might stick together. As for me, I hardly find someone I know. I know Belle was taking the same course as me too, but I couldn't find her that day. Till I met my ex-classmate from SOASC, Hasanuddin. Besides him, I even met Amzar but unfortunately we weren't in the same course because he is taking Degree programme. While me & Hasan were taking Diploma.

During the four days Orientation Session, I met new friends, Zekry & Sa'ar. Whereas Belle, she made friends with this two undergraduate young ladies, Fuzah & Ema.

After recognising the faculties and strolling around the campus, I finally get to meet the rest of the Pri.Ed undergrads. Trust me..there were so many of us. Together with the Phys.Ed undergrads, we're totalled up to 90+ peeps. Forget the Phys.Ed for awhile, and when I focus to the Pri.Ed undergrads, I could hardly remember their names..til now!! Hahaha..

Memories Of MTSSR Attachment at GHK Serasa

2006 - A year before our MTSSR graduation held at ICC, all the students of NTC3 Motor Vehicle Mechanic intake 2005/2006 were sent on attachment. Each students have different choices of workshops and car shops to be chosen, and at each place, only two students were sent for the attachment. I have partner-up with one of my closest fren, Anwar. Hehe..he is a really funny guy and I never missed to laugh-out-loud a day being around with him. We both chose GHK Auto Assembly at Serasa as our attachment spot.

For the whole six months, we experienced and learned advance techniques on doing mechanic jobs such as overhauling, servicing, a little bit of welding and some other unnecessary job, car washing. Haha..its funny because from what we have learned theorically back at the Technical College, most of the work done on cars. But as we got there at our attachment spot, ehe..da place were loaded with heavy vehicles such as lorries, pick-ups, trucks, buses and much worst, Garbage-trucks!! Only God knows how stinks it was back in those days. Me and my partner met Hairol & Khalid. They both have been working together for a long time. Since we were both new, its a normal thing for us to get fooled & bullied by them. Yes..we were bullied and fooled with our work. But at the same time, their just actually making fun of us, where its to show how they treat attachment peeps their way of teaching us. Others were Sis Rose & Sis Norul. Two buddies, Jun & Hj. Bebel were from bodyworks section and they have kept us accompanied along the attachment days, trained us abit on welding and car-painting.

Every single activity dat we did have to be noted down in our log book. Sometimes there were no work at all per day, and thats when me and Anwar will write down crappy stuffz, as if we were doin heavy works but instead we'll just take our time doin nothin at all. Haha.. not to forget, other two students, Liza & Kwang, were also sent to the same place as ours for their attachment. The only difference is, they do alot of body works for some vehicles and most of the time, they work at the store..arranging stuffz. Overall, we both had fun times and hard times. We ended our attachment and they were hoping to see us again with a brighter future.
